How To Put Names on Balloons?

How To Put Names on Balloons? | Party Save Smile

When you are wondering how to put names on balloons, the answer might be easier than you think. Oh, and there might just be more ways than you first think of to add a name to a balloon too!

There are four main ways you can have names and balloons together and they all have their merits. The hardest part is deciding which is the best option for you! If you are inexperienced with inflating balloons or have no experience personalising a balloon, the first 2 options might just be the perfect options for you!

1) Use Letter Balloons to Spell a Name with Balloons

Buying some letter balloons and spelling out a name using balloons is easy, cost effective and will look great. It also requires little experience.

2) Personalise a balloon with vinyl or stickers

Using vinyl to personalise a balloon or add a name to a balloon looks great! In face, our team personalise the balloons we send to our customers in this way using premium vinyl.

Adding a name to a balloon isn't the easiest thing to do though. But don't worry, you can have our team inflate and send a balloon with a name on so you don't have to worry about it!

A personalised balloon from Party Save Smile will save you having to buy separate bespoke vinyl and it means you don't have to worry about making a mistake or adding the name to the balloon yourself! Check out our collection below.

3) Write on the balloon with a pen

Writing on a pen with a balloon at first seems like an easy option! However, it might not be as easy as you first think.

The first thing to consider is your writing! Is it neat and are you prone to mistakes? If so you might need some extra balloons or might end up with a messy name!

Next you have to make sure the ink in the pen suitable for use on a balloon? Will it smear? Does it dry quickly? Will the ink or pen damage the balloon? Suddenly writing a name on a balloon seems a whole lot more difficult than it might do at first thought!

4) Use glue and glitter

Glue and glitter is another great option, but it is very difficult to get right! It requires a lot of patience and takes a lot of time!

Then when you are finished there is the mess to clean up! That is why glue and glitter is our least favourite option!

If you are looking for a personalised balloon or a balloon with a name, let our great products and experienced team match you to your perfect balloon - with the name taken care of!

The Brief

Our customer contacted us by email, enquiring about balloons for their daughter’s 18th birthday party, as well as set up for their event at Tutbury Castle near Burton on Trent.

Work Undertaken

Uncertain of the formation and number of balloons required, our balloon experts liaised with the customer suggesting some options. The customer required pearl white, marble black/grey/white and clear balloon filled with silver confetti.

It was agreed that each table would have a 7 Latex Balloon centrepiece display, with a further 2 floor standing balloon bouquets, each containing 10 balloons either side of the birthday cake.

To complete the order, Giant Foil Helium Filled letter balloons were used to spell out the birthday girl’s name and age; ‘Brooke 18’ co-ordinating these in silver balloons. This was intended to be a statement piece in the room. Our venue dressing team set up the customers balloons at Tutbury castle on the day of the Birthday party.
